Godless Arrogance

xhrl_ This LP will confuse some. It has some blackened touches but it doesn't delve into any placid atmospheres. Rather it is music for battling and about warfare and death-struggles. This Dutch band pounds the drums in an Orc-like, violent manner. The warfare is non-stop and unrelenting. In a way it mirrors the life of a spiritual warrior. The pounding channels the guitars, which alternate between abrupt chromatic confrontation (e.g., Demoncy) and gentle unfolding melodies. Superb BM! Favorite track: This World Must Burn (Hammer Of Supremacy).

N. Lord Perhaps the most ferocious and confronting music I've heard since "Fallen Angel of Doom", this album is a testament to the unique sense of power and urgency that only metal music can ever so rarely tap into. Favorite track: Nineteen Corpses Hang In The Mist.

about

With pride in our hearts, and trembling on our legs as well, we announce the release date for the new Sammath album "Godless Arrogance" on CD, vinyl and download on February 3rd 2014!

We heard it now, we survived and we can only say this total annihilation straight from the heart, a merciless assault that stand on its own, like a blitzkrieg assault that leaves no survivors...

We dare say that no one in the Dutch black metal has ever made an audio assault on this scale, it pummels and shreds, until all has been laid to dust.

Well, that is it folks, prepare yourselves, although it will not help you much.
